TSB offers to help homebuyers by paying stamp duty
TSB has brought back their stamp duty offer to help homebuyers who are in the 1% bracket. The bank has offered to help customers with the cost of the stamp duty.
They’re offering to cover the cost of stamp duty for homebuyers up to £2500. Buyers outside the 1% bracket will also get £1000 cash back.
This new offering will help homebuyers across the country to save up to £2500 which can go toward other home expenses. With this move, TSB hopes to contribute to the growth of local economies.
Ian Ramsden, TSB Mortgages Director, explained that their previous stamp duty offer was a big hit with the customers, and hence they’re bringing it back again.
The new offer goes with some of TSB’s competitive mortgage products whose interests rates begin at 2.64%. It is available on the two year fixed, two-year tracker, and five-year fixed mortgage options.
